Placing
Click Add marker or Add POI, then click on the scan. The hotspot attaches to the surface you clicked. If no surface is found (for example in empty air), it's placed at the distance set by Placement depth. Fine-tune with the move / rotate / scale gizmo or by typing coordinates.
Hotspots are stored in the scan's own coordinates, so they stay attached to the right spot from every angle.
Markers
- Viewpoint marker: flies to a saved viewpoint.
- Scene marker: opens another scene.
- Icon marker: a styled icon (optionally with an action).
- Area marker: an invisible clickable region that highlights on hover.
Points of interest
Choose a content type (image, video, text, form, PDF, product, quiz…) and an appearance (icon hotspot, label, area, or embedded directly in the scene as a panel or object). Options include visibility distance, schedules (show only during opening hours), groups and whether the POI opens on click, hover or automatically when visitors come close.
Custom HTML is sanitized and shown in a sandboxed frame without scripts.
